Pacquiao Defeats Marquez in Majority Decision

Everyone thought that Pacquiao would steamroll right through Marquez just like all of his recent opponents, but much to everyone’s surprise it was the opposite!!! The fight went all 12 rounds and Manny seemed to have a real problem with the counter-punching of Marquez. Manny was hesitant to really get started and throw because Marquez consistently would fire back each time Manny would try to open up. Manny had the clear speed advantage. Manny was fast on his feet and used many angles but never could dominate. They appeared to trade rounds as the fight went on. Freddy Roach even told Manny he would need to knock Marquez out. Nacho was telling Marquez that he was winning the fight down the stretch. At the end Manny defeated Marquez in a majority decision against Marquez. it left the crowd screaming in disagreement.. Now Floyd will certainly jump on Manny after this lack luster performance.
